IATA - INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TRAVEL AGENTS

 

The International Airport Transportation Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world's airlines, representing some 260 airlines or 83% of total air traffic. They support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues. IATA works with airline members and the air transportation industry as a whole to promote safe, reliable, secure and economical air travel for the benefit of the world's consumers. IATA's 260 member airlines comprise 83% of all air traffic. 

ASATA - ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICAN TRAVEL AGENTS

 

ASATA's emphasis is on free trade without violating rules and regulations. Accordingly we have entrenched a Constitution and Code of Conduct that self-regulates our industry and provides the consumer with protection and peace of mind. 

GSTA - GERMAN SPEAKING TRAVEL ALLIANCE 

 

The GSTA is a national alliance of corporate travel agencies and travel management companies founded on the principal of quality, responsiveness and teamwork. We encourage and empower our staff to be solution orientated in their thinking, which enables us to offer a wide range of service and solutions. We strive to continuously improve our quality and performance. The GSTA offers customers, local and global, travel management services that are comprehensive and of the highest quality. Our solutions can be standardized or tailor-made to suit any requirements, locally or globally. Our combined buying power enables our alliance to negotiate preferential agreements with our suppliers, the benefits of which are then passed onto our customers. These include, amongst others, special airfares, promotional fares and special GSTA negotiated rates, suject to conditions. 

AHK - SOUTHERN AFRICAN GERMAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY

 

With offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, the Chamber has been facilitating business links between South Africa and Germany for more than fifty years, by supplying information on the economic situation in both countries, bringing together potential trade partners, and offering a wide range of other services. Since 1997, the Chamber has extended its activities to the neighbouring countries in the SADC region as well, namely Angola, Botswana, Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
